What happens in a session?

In the initial consultation, details are taken of your circumstances. Goals for therapy are discussed and agreed on, and a full explanation of hypnosis is provided. Any questions or misconceptions about hypnosis will also be dealt with.
If it is felt that the Sedona Method would suit your needs better at this point, an introduction of the method would be provided, and possibly hypnosis would be used in subsequent sessions.

The length of treatments depends on the individuals circumstances, but usually requires only a small number of sessions. This will be possible to assess at the first consultation.

Feeling safe, comfortable and secure with the therapist is important for the successful induction of a hypnotic state, but you are never under any obligation to proceed with hypnotherapy during a session.

Once you have achieved a trance state, I may use different therapeutic methods. As part of the process, you will also be taught self-hypnosis.

The first session usually lasts one and a half hours, with subsequent sessions between an hour to an hour and a half.

Your progress will be reviewed at every session and feedback is encouraged.

Throughout the process, you are under no obligation to undertake further sessions.
