Government will pay you £190 for attending a HypnoBirthing® class

If your baby's due date is on or after 6th April 2009, and you're 25 weeks pregnant or more, you're entitled to a £190 grant (in other words, free money you don't have to pay back) to help prepare for the birth of your baby.

What is HypnoBirthing® ?

HypnoBirthing® was originally established in the United States by Marie Mongan, who is the founder of The HypnoBirthing® Institute.

HypnoBirthing® is a complete birth education programme, based on the belief that childbirth is a natural, normal and healthy function, and therefore, can be achieved in a calm, gentle and relaxed, and often, in a pain free way.
The HypnoBirthing program includes teaching techniques for deep relaxation, self-hypnosis, guided imagery and visualization, advanced breathing techniques, bonding with the pre-born baby and with the birth-companion, and practical information.

This will help in preparing you physically, mentally and emotionally, for experiencing a healthy, comfortable and fear free birthing for yourself and your baby, allowing you to enjoy a rewarding pregnancy and a positive birth experience!

The HypnoBirthing method is now being recommended by Midwives, GPs and Obstetricians, as well as used for their own births.
