The HypnoBirthing Course

This enjoyable and informative course is designed as a structured but informal class that will prepare you mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically for having the best possible experience of childbirth.
You will learn how your body works and how to best work with it, building your confidence and trust in yourself.
You will be taught and given techniques and exercises to practise, either on your own, or together with your birthing partner.

Groups are kept small enough to ensure that your needs are fully met and that you leave feeling positive and confident in your ability to use what you have learned and give birth using Hypnobirthing.

You will receive a copy of the "HypnoBirthing®” book by Marie Mongan, and a CD which includes Birthing Affirmations and the Rainbow Relaxation technique.

Birthing Partner

The Birthing Partner plays a central role in the HypnoBirthing program.
He/she will become a vitally important part of the pregnancy and birthing process; helping you to stay calm and focussed on the techniques you've been taught.
Some exercises are meant for the both of you to practice, and it is he/she who will accompany you during your birthing experience.
For this reason, it is most important that you choose as your Birthing Partner someone who you can trust, and feel comfortable with, whether it is the father, your partner, a family member or a friend.

Most importantly, you'll learn how to take back control of your birthing experience - rather than blindly hand it over to your doctor or midwife.
