What is it?

Hypnosis is a natural state of deep, mental and physical relaxation and comfort, in which there is heightened awareness within the subconscious mind. It is an altered state of consciousness, or “trance” state.

In this state, as you become more and more relaxed, you become less aware of the surroundings, and more acutely aware of your inner realities; feelings, emotions, thoughts, resources and potentials.
It is simply a state of inner-focus.

Hypnotherapy uses the hypnotic state in order to facilitate and bring about desired change. It is the use of the altered state of consciousness for therapeutic outcome; personal development, problem resolution, self-healing, and beneficial, powerful and lasting transformation.

My work is goal oriented and focused more on the present rather than on the past, allowing you to focus your attention internally, re-accessing resources, and creating new associations, and new patterns of thinking, as well as letting go of the limiting thoughts, belief systems and feelings that hold us back.
